THE DORMANCY & REUNION DATES:

1970:

ND/February: Tim Bogert & Carmine Appice begin the Cactus recording sessions with Jim McCarty & Rusty Day

16 May: Temple Stadium, Philadelphia, PA

    Debut concert of Cactus who opened for Jimi Hendrix on a bill that included the Steve Miller Band and the Grateful Dead.

1 July: LP Release:

     "Cactus" (debut LP of Cactus - ATCO 33-340)

1971:

24 February: LP Release:

    "One Way or Another", Cactus' 2nd LP (ATCO 33-356).

ND/August: LP Release:

     Mark Stein's "Boomerang" release their self titled LP (RCA LSP-4577).

Late Fall: The Rockpile (nee Action House), Long Island, During a Cactus Concert, all 4 original Vanilla Fudge members get on stage for an impromptu reunion performance.

18 October: LP Release:

    "Restrictions", Cactus' 3rd LP (ATCO 33-377 - last LP with vocalist Rusty Day).

1972:

28 August: LP Release

     "'Ot 'N' Sweaty", Cactus final LP (ATCO 7011)

1973:
