Technical Difficulties, PLEASE READ

Hi Everyone, It seems the forum is from time to time not flagging some messages as new. I have experienced it, and so has Bill.

If you are looking for the "New", or just clicking on the "New Messages" button. You may not always get all the new messages. So, if you are expecting a reply to a post and don't get one, please have patience and try to check the threads you are currently involved in. All messages are being posted, they are just sometimes not being flagged as new.

Please bear with us. Casey's doing the best he can even though he is overworked and underpaid! :-))

We'll let you know as soon as it's fixed! Thanks

Pete

Hey Pete!

Please bear with us. Casey's doing the best he can even though he is overworked and underpaid! :-)) <>Perhaps we should do what the Royalty of old would do to motivate an "underpreforming" slave. Beat them briskly and deny them food! (VBG). Helpfully, Bill

Hi Bill,

More simply, I thought turning down the brightness on his monitor and removing the knob would be equally effective! (VVBG)

Should we be more polite, Casey? Lest we forget you can turn us off with the flick of another knob! :-))

Pete

Hi Pete!

More simply, I thought turning down the brightness on his monitor and removing the knob would be equally effective! (VVBG) <>LOL!

Should we be more polite, Casey? Lest we forget you can turn us off with the flick of another knob! :-))<> Uh-oh... Just a joke Casey!! Honest! (VBG).

BTW, guys, do you remember the Cream/Fudge Psychedelic Effects LP I told you about? Yesterday I received a catalog from Metro Music of Maryland and they had listed a double LP which included Cream's "Goodbye" and the Fudge's "NTB" LP's together. I'm wondering if this is the "Two Originals" LP listed in the AMG database and whether or not this double LP was the basis for the old "Psychedelic Light Effects apocryphal story I sent Casey and you. They also had two Fudge EP's from AUstralia I didn't have (YKMHO & "Take Me For A Little While". Finally dig it: they had TBGO Promo single Dozer Bob mentioned. Yep, I ordered them all. If the cover's are cool I send them to Casey for scanning. Actually, the catalog was amazing in that it had a lot of Australian stuff including the "Rock Mass for Love" by the Perth Band, "Bakery".

Bakery were a great local band in Perth back in 71-72. Their vocalist Tom Davidson (or Davis?) had a wonderful voice and could almost sound like Mark Stein when they covered YKMHO. I was at the ROck Mass (Episcopal Cathedral in Perth) the LP was recorded at but I left the country before the LP had been issued and never had the chance to pick it up before now. Bakery also did a lot of covers of Deep Purple. Their first RCA single was Deep Purple's "Bloodsucker" and an original song, "Leave SCruffy alone" (I think - I lost the copy I had years ago). I just can't believe the luck I've been having lately! Metro Music even had another great Aussie Bands 1st LP from the same era, "Spectrum" but they wanted too much for it and so I passed.Pax, Bill.

I'll get around to it soon, honest. 'Ladder of Life' arrived today... wow! More later... but thanks again, Bill!

Casey

Casey,

Some monitors don't have removable knobs... take my monitor - PLEASE! <>No joke, tonight my Netscape browser started doing some really strange things. The graphics all started going to blue-grey and finally black. It happened first on the Fudge page and then some other sites I moved to. Netscape has always been hinky for me. On the contents page the graphics frequently exchange places. The Chronicles ship becomes TBGO LP cover and the Guestbook window keeps slipping behind the text.

I switched to Explorer but triggered an error message on the forum. But the graphics haven't faded to black yet.. I'll have my wife check it out later.

Casey, that really was a great job on Vince Martell's biography!

I'll get around to it soon, honest. 'Ladder of Life' arrived today... wow! More later... but thanks again, Bill!<> Man, thank YOU !!!! Peace, Bill.

Hi Casey,

Netscape is working just fine now! I can't imagine what I was doing last night to trigger the weirdness. I was begining to suspect I had a virus and it freaked me out. Everything's cool -sorry for the false alarm! Peace, Bill
