Mark Stein Hammond Organ, Keyboards, Lead Vocals

Though vocals are obligatory for every member of Vanilla Fudge, Mark Stein's world-class vocals led out most often, especially remembered from You Keep Me Hangin' On. Mark's Hammond Organ gymnastics define the Vanilla Fudge sound, and in concert the instrument barely stays on the stage. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, on March 11 of 1947, Mark, along with Tim Bogert, founded Vanilla Fudge (then 'The Pigeons') in 1966.
